I was not please with the Technician and this is why. I brough my vehicle in for a gas pressure sensor replacement due to engine light being on. Prior to leaving, I discussed the price with the technician, and he stated it would be $420.00, which is an estimate until he really knows if that's the only issue that needs repair. So he gave me and estimate of $420.00, I signed the paperwork so they can work on my vehicle to fix the problem or problems. I left and went home awaiting their call. While at home, I looked at my FIXED for vehicles, and this is National prices for vehicle repairs, with breakdowns of parts cost and labor costs. Fixed estimated that the parts for this repair to be between $60.00 to $80.00 and labor between $90.00 and $120.00. I called the shop to inquire about my vehicle and the price of $420.00. The technician immediately got an attitude and stated that I agreed to pay $420.00 before I left the shop. I stated to him that I agreed to him working on my vehicle and the estimate he gave, prior to me knowing what the service repair really costs. When I initially signed the paperwork for service he never gave me a breakdown of how much it's going to cost foe parts and labor separate, if he did, I would never had agreed to pay him $320.00 for 1 hour of labor. This is theft in the worst way. I am a Veteran and I am on fixed income and should not be ripped off by your technician, your newest technician. He stated I can charge you what ever I want to, in a disrespectful manner. When I came to pick up my vehicle I did not argue with the technician or cause a scene, I just payed the bill and said I will address this to the owner of the business. I estimated the Job to be worth around $300.00 and this is being generous of his labor. I have 4 vehicles and I have been bring them to A1 for two years now without issue. I am requesting a refund of $130.20. my future business is worth more than $130.00. I need you to reinstate my trust in your company and technicians. and agree to my refund request. If I do not receive a response, my next course of action will be to the better business bureau. I hope we can resolve this issue and move on Sir.
